Wake up Maggie I think I've got something to say to you

It's late September and I really should be back in school...

I asked my husband what song I should use for this entry, and he said, "Something by Rod Stewart." We ARE sleep deprived. He'd never suggest Rod otherwise.

All Knitting! Knitknitknit!

Look at this!

Finally, Bridie is done. It took 14 weeks to make the final band and sew on buttons, but done it is.

Pattern: by the fabulous Anna, soon I think in a book so no longer available to buy singly. I am glad I bought it when I did!

Needles: US 6, my first time with Rosewood circular needles. I like 'em!

Yarn: Karabella Margrite. Gorgeous.

Here's some more pics. I'm pretty pleased.

Better run. Things remain difficult with the Bug. Forty-five minute naps suck. Breastfeeding every two hours sucks. Reflux sucks. And let me tell you, colic REALLY SUCKS.

But!

Smiling rocks. So we are making progress. ;-)

For those trying to leave comments, but can't, I am sorry! I'll get my technical guru on it.

yayayayay Bridie.

Motherhood becomes you even if you are beat and dealing with suckiness. You look gorgeous! The only way I got naps to go beyond 45 minutes was sleeping with her.

Testing, testing.

Sorry for all the 'testing' comments!

How we lookin' girl? So good in a sweet new knit!

Wonderful sweater! As my teacher would say, it's obviously Lord and Taylor, not KMart! Colic does get better, eventually....

Love the sweater. The color is beautiful. Did you use the yarn that the designer used? If not it really did make a great subsitute.

My son had colic so bad I was considering moving out. But I discovered baby massage. start on top of the belly and massage down in a sweeping mostion like you are rubbing the gas out. It is all gas and he cannot get it out. I am sure the internet has more on that. Try it is saved me.

that turned out great - looks awesome on you!!!! :)
