Paul, a little hair cutting music, please...
I chopped off my hair. It was SO time. It was all dead from frequent coloring, and I really like it. I don't like to put pics of me on the blog, but here's the new do. Be kind, it's a lame arm-outstretched-taking-my-own-picture picture.
Oooh, la la, the deer in headlights look. How very.
Four more years...
Well. I wish I had something uplifting to say about the election, but I just don't. No offense to the Replicans and conservatives out there. But I just see things very differently, and I think we are a country making decisions based on fear - fear of the "other" - other religions, other ethnicities, other sexual preferences, other skin colors. Somehow, people need to not be afraid of what is different from them, but how does that happen? No more fear, everybody. Don't buy the hype; think for yourselves. End of soapbox. Over and out.
Next time we return to our regularly scheduled knitting.

Awesome haircut! I love it!
I couldn't agree more about the election. I think you've hit the nail on the head - elections motivated almost entirely by fear are never a good sign in a democracy.
I do think we're less motivated by fear of the other now than we were 40 or 60 or a 100 years ago. Nearly half of us chose the alternative. That gives me hope that we'll be through this eventually.
