Nobody Panic.

Oxygen masks will drop down soon.

Yes sirree, things are looking a mite different over here at HEK. The old look was stale, so, you know, 2004. But, it will take a bit before things are exactly how we want them. Don't panic. You're a hoopy frood. It's all going to be okay.

So, what's new?

If you look up, the links under the banner have been changed and there is now a Links page, for such things as blogs I read, etc. This page will be much prettier in the near future.

Also, the Gallery is in process again, finally, thanks to help from Sweetie McSweeterton. That girl really is good at making/manipulating web pages. If you need a good web designer, she's your girl. Seriously.

Enough chatter.

Ginger is done:

Front.

And back.

Of note:

I used the yarn called for, Rowan Summer Tweed, on US 7. It was very stiff and unenjoyable to knit with, but the results are okay. It didn't smell when I washed it, as some have reported.

NBaT

For those who asked, NBaT is a pattern free at Magknits. For those interested, there is a knit-a-long hosted by the fabulous Nona. Hey Nona, can I still sign up???

Great tank! It looks super on you.
Love the new look, too.

I really like your Ginger top! Maybe one day I'll unearth the one I began last summer and finish it, too. Cute dog!

Oh ginger is gorgeous! It fits you perfectly. You're such a hottie Mchotterton in it. I love that picture of Sadie in the background. She looks like she is thinking, "yay my mommie knit a sweater..." Either that or "throw the damn ball, throw the damn ball, throw the damn ball, throw the damn ball...."

PS And Ginger makes your boobs look big!

PPS Not that they aren't already. I'm just saying.

oooh...I love it! I knit a sleeveless top out of that same pattern book with the summer tweed and it turned out horrible. But I think that was the first tank I ever made, so I have an excuse. I should recycle the yarn and make ginger!

you give great tank-top.

I have a ton of that stuff. I'm dying to knit with it. looks great! I do love that pattern.

The new tank is great, Jenny. Love the color, and it looks really flattering on you :)

Have a good one~

It looks great! Much better fitting than mine :)

NIce job in the tank. I'm diggin' the changes, the new look. Awesome, awesome!

Nice new look! And I LURRRRVE Ginger. That color looks awesome on you.

The tank looks great! The color looks great on you.

Movin' on up! Wowee! I can't wait until I am unemployed and can actually have things I have knitted within the past year in my gallery and update my sidebar... imagine that?!

That color is so lovely on you. And I have been doing a lot of studying with Trinny and Susannah's book (What Not to Wear people- UK version) so I am an expert on color now. Ahem. What was I saying?

Ohhh I think I'm going to have to knit me a "ginger". It's perfect... the colour really suits you and Sadie looks like she thinks so too. If she's anything like Jack ti AM's comment it'll be "throw the damn ball!"

Ginger looks great! I printed out the pattern for NBaT and put it in my growing pile!

ooooooo.... I love it!

Aren't you glad you're done with Ginger? I am! I need to wear that thing though.

Woo hoo! You're lookin' cute and sexy in that tank, Ms HEK. And I love
