A Day in the Life.
Well, hello there.
Hi people. I thought I'd post a little post here, but actually it's a BIG post, so be forewarned!
A friend of a friend suggested this idea on his blog about taking a picture of your day, hour by hour. I thought it'd be interesting... I couldn't do it on a work day, since I can't take pics at work, but here I document for you my day off work on Sunday.
2:30pm
Hi. I'm sleepy and the gnomes and I really want to stay in bed.

3:30pm
Walking a happy person who is getting her news. All the news that's fit to sniff.

4:30pm
Knitting on Madli's Shawl, from IK, in Kidsilk Haze. I'm working fast, cause I have a month left till I wear it. At this point I have 18.5 repeats out of 31 done.

5:30pm
The boy and I decide to take the tandem out for a spin. Lord is he silly.

6:30pm
Buying new bike shorts from Bike Nashbar. And no you can't zoom in to to see my credit card. Stop trying.

7:30pm
Carrie, John and I waiting for AM and Dixie Chick. We were so hungry, we threatened to eat Carrie. We were in a vegetarian restaurant, and they caved and seated us. We won!

8:30pm
Dessert. Yum.

9:30pm
Talking to my Mom-in-law on the telephone. Gabgabgab. My mom and dad: I will call soon, I swear.

10:30pm
Jenny actually starts in on a project for work she was supposed to start hours ago. Excellent. I HATE writing.

11:30pm
Still working. Have called in reinforcements: ipod, Lucky Charms, Diet Pepsi. Thank God for Diet Pepsi.

12:30am
Waiting for last page to print. So. Tired. of. Waiting. Have resumed Pajama Status.

1:30am
Kinko's. 1:30 am. The Jennmeister, High Energy Jenninator, Making Copies.
I am the ONLY one in the copy shop. This is a college town on Sunday night. WHAT?

2:30am
I'm exhausted and I deserve a movie. Goody. Headphones, laptop, sofa.

3:30am
Mid-movie, knitting up a storm! Almost 20 repeats down!

4:30am
Writing the blog. Too boring for picture.
5:00am
Must work at 5pm tomorrow. Maybe just a little Harry Potter time before I go to sleep...

Good night ya'll... More knitting soon.

What a full day! I love your gnome PJs. It would be fantastic if I could find flannel gnome sheets. Hmmm...I think I need a garden gnome. And now, after seeing your dessert, I think I want to eat that for breakfast!

Wow, burning the midnight oil. Yeah. I feel the same way about writing as you do--that is why I am here visiting your blog instead of working on the paper due tonight. procrastination.
Love the pajamas and the Madli. ;)
(and glad to see an entry! i missed you!)

Clearly, it's breakfast time because all I can focus on are the delicious and wonderful Lucky Charms in your post. Good on you for getting the project done.
P.S. I was up at 1:30. Watching you-know-who. Love. him.
HEJ is back! Whee!

I'm with Carrie. Yummmmm. Green stars. Orange clovers. Mini Marshmallows and cereal in milk! BRING ON THE LEPRECHAUN!
Do you always work nights? It must be hard - I think it would be hard for me to be awake when it's dark and sleep when it's light.

Lucky Charms is my all time FAVORITE cereal! You go girl!!
Madli is coming along beautifully. I think I am going to do mine in Zephyr Wool. In violet, which actually looks bluish purple.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Welcome back. You were missed.
I truely think that the lead up to writing is much worse than the actual writing. This is being writen as I avoid some writing myself!

Very cool. And while I seem to be on Pacific time, you are on Hawaii! I still have never actually had Lucky Charms, but I did eat a marshmallow from it the other day. It was surprisingly like freeze-dried ice cream.

Welcome back! I loved your halloween costume that was posted on Carrie and AM's blogs, you make a great Uma.
Even for someone that works nights, knitting lace at 3:30 AM is ballsy. Props to you.

He he. I have those same gnome PJs. Okay, well not THE same ones. Obviously, you are wearing them. And I promise that I have not sneaked in to wear your PJs. I guess mine are similar, but mine. So, um.. there.

I am so jealous. One, I wish I could ditch my 9-5 and keep your schedule. Two, I wish I could finish my Madli. I've been working on it for over a year. I'm halfway done. Lucky girl.
