Mittens! Stash sale! Did I mention Mittens!

NO, it ain't another hiatus...

Hello there! Sorry I've been away so long. Had tons to do, but have been really productive, so that's good.

I also went to my first DRIVE-THRU pharmacy. What a good idea! Why hadn't I done this before? Going IN to the store? It's so passé!

SOME NEWS: There is a big stash sale coming your way from HEK. Stay tuned, will post this weekend. Seriously good deals for seriously good knitters.

Update us.

1) I started a Klaralund (from Cornelia Hamilton Book 2) for my mom:

Knit during the Harry Potter 4 movie. Completed during Scrabble. Which I won. Ha!*

This is the second one I've made. Only for family could I knit something twice. It's going to be SO. COOL. Silk Garden, I love thee.

2) And, I did some more work on the Nordic gloves:

I'm in love with this gusset.

3) Madli is done, but no picture yet. I want to be able to take a good one, and today it's overcast. Soon, though. I'm super pleased with this helpful blocking post by the Harlot, as it made blocking Madli much more easy. Thanks so much for all your sweet comments on Madli so far!

4) And, I never did post a picture of my NBaT, but I finally finished it (in like SEPTEMBER, hello!):

I hated that intarsia. It actually looks like crap close up. No more for this girl for awhile. Onward and upward. Forward ho! Or something like that...

*Ok, but only by like a few points. My sister usually kicks my scrabble ass. And our dad ALWAYS, and I mean without fail, wins the following: Parcheesi, Clue, and Croquet. Amazing. Mom kicks all our butts at Wheel of Fortune. My mom can guess a wheel of fortune clue with NO letters on the board. Vanna ain't got nothin' on my mom.

Comments

I hereby challenge your mom to a Wheel of Fortune competition. I WILL PREVAIL.

And also, those mittens are so freakin' bad ass. Seriously, people. In person, they will knock your handknit socks off.

And your OU shirt looks GREAT!

It all looks amazing! Those mittens are completely gorgeous. I am in awe...

Hmm, I await the mitten sale.

Mittens. I worship thee.

Seriously, what pattern is that? I have never wanted to knit that stuff before, but it looks really freakin' cool.

Seriously impressed with everything. And that includes Scrabble and your mom.

nbat looks fab! and i'm completely obsessed with those mittens, the colors are amazing!!

That colorway of Noro is great! I don't often see one I like *this* much. What is it?

Also, great OU NBaT!

LOVE the nbat. From here, it looks great! The mittens? Woah. That's all I can say!

Those are seriously amazing mittens. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Fabulous knits, Jenny! I love the mittens and the tee! I am making Klaralund now, and I can imagine making another one - I think it is a fun knit. The colorway you chose for your mom is really pretty too!

Take care~

The intarsia looks really good from a distance tho...

Drive through pharmacies always seem to take too long to me. Perhaps I should reconsider.

Everything looks so good. The intasia looks just fine in the picture.

Jenny! THOSE MITTENS....OMG. Amazing.

In fact, it's all amazing. Can I come shake your hand and hope some of your skills will rub off on me??

your projects are great! and NBaT looks perfect to me. the intarsia in my T is crappy up close too. ;)

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the NBat, especially the intarsia! Never thought I'd see another knitter who loves OU. And the mittens are fab. Boomer Sooner!

I love your NBaT! I hate mine. I am going to rip it out.

No, you gotta hold off on the stash sales till I have money, like in January. Haha. Just teasin. The mittens are looking good! That gusset is pretty fun :)

You may not like that intarsia but you look totally fab and cute and THAT'S what matters. Hee hee!

P.S. Hello?!?! Are you the fairisle queen or what? There you go showing that photo of those mittens which makes me feel like a knitter on training wheels, yo.

Your Nordic gloves are beautiful! I really want to knit a pair of those. I love, love, love them!
I love Klaralunds colors also! So purty.

Lucky, lucky Mom.
