Hold on to sixteen as long as you can...

Changes come around real soon make us women and men

Hey all. THANKS again for your continued wishes and prayers. You all are truly the best. At this point, no news is good news, and that's where we are. More news when we know it. Until then, we'll keep taking all the prayers/thoughts/love we can get!

While you all were in Maryland...

I went to North Carolina, to see my folks and sister. Can I tell you how awesome my family is? They are the best. They went with me to dress shop for my cousin's wedding. My family+shopping=goodtimes, because the mockery level is HIGH. We can make fun of anything.

Also, they rock because they took me to Yarn Paradise, and knew the level of mockery had to be reigned in. AND I got 10 skeins of Debbie Bliss wool cotton for $35.00!!!!!!!!!!! Wowie. And some Koigu. So. Good. Then we watched a movie and made some fun of it. Overall, a FUN two days.

But now.

Now, I have to go to work, tomorrow at SEVEN A.M. OUCH. So this is a briefish post to say:

HOLY CRAP LOOK AT MY SOCKS!!!

The lovely Patti sent me these drop-dead gorgeous socks:

High Energy Dad helped with getting the colors right. He's no FAUX-tographer. He's the real deal.

And these fun seed pots! Fun, since I'm into growing things these days!

Patti, I love these socks so much that I have worn them everyday since I got them. I'm wearing them NOW. I'm going to wear them out! And that's a good thing. The color is so perfect, the fit is perfect, the yarn so soft (Cherry Tree Hill, people!!!). I couldn't be a luckier sockapaloooza pal. Thank you Patti!

Speaking of growing things, here for Cara is one of the new flowers from our new front yard landscaping:

I hope everyone gets their socks out there. I have lots to share on the purple ribbed Vintage Knits sweater (only a sleeve to go! some minor sleeve surgery! 3/4 sewn together!!!). Stay tuned!

I'm still sad that you didn't make it to Maryland, but it sounds like you managed to have fun anyway :). Beautiful socks!

I'm thinking lots of good implanting thoughts for you!!!

Yes, I am officially jealous of your new socks. Wear them happily! :)

Love the retro rib socks, too. Lucky girl!!

Lovely socks, I could do with mine at the moment but they are still somehere in the post. It's suposed to be May perhaps someone ought to tell the weather this, It's still cold enough for socks over here.

Yay! HEJ, I'm so glad that if you were going to miss MSW, it was to have fun times with your family!

Mmm....purty socks there you have!

Continued good wishes on "the growing"!

And Happy Hump Day!

Hey! Excellent sockage. Thanks for the flower - it's gorgeous - I'd love to get super close on that one.

I missed you this weekend - but glad you were laughing it up with family!

Thinking of you constantly, especially now that I can't get John Mellencrap out of my head. ;-)

Yay! You made it to Yarn Paradise! Isn't it great?

Still sending good "gardening" thoughts your way!

Ooh! The socks are gorgeous! And those are definitely HEJ signature colors. I can't wait to see them in person!

Yay HE Family.

Pretty socks! Lucky you ...

We missed you at MS&W! Those socks are indeed awesome and in your signature color palet!

Those are some super cute socks! I am keeping my fingers crossed for you :-)

We definitely missed you this weekend! Perhaps next time...

love those socks. And they fit you perfectly!

I'm really close with my family too, especially my sister. We just laughed yesterday about her coming with me to a wedding so we could laugh and make fun of people together.

Yay for no news (is good news)!!!! Thinking of you often out here....

Beautimous socks, lady. And flower.

Grow, HEE, grow!

Hooray- now I can comment on your blog without being caught!! First of all, I am SO GLAD the socks fit and look good on you!!!! I really did enjoy knitting them, although I must say I was scared when I read the technical genius figgerin' you did on the knit it shrug, and then the Green Gable. You should be a technical editor for the knit publishing industry!! And now that I know you like them, can you tell I knit backward? (I knit from right needle to left needle.) I think some of my stitches end up differently...

More baby growing prayers for you!!!

Pretty socks!
