Yes, and I ain't saying you ain't pretty
All I'm saying's I'm not ready...For any person place or thing...To try and pull the reins in on meeeeeeeee*
Kids, this will have to be short. There is no internet working in the High Energy Home. Repeat. SOS. Send help. And snacks. We might not last.
So I am here at Jittery Joe's, a local coffee haunt, blogging. Thank the Good Lord that Athens has tons of wireless internet.
No news is good news.
On the embryo front, we continue to wait, but nothing bad has happened. I consider this a huge victory. And the progesterone is making my boobs GIGANTIC. THINK, people, what pregnancy will do. Oh Lord.
What? A finished Object? D'Art?
I made Odessa.

Great little pattern. One problem, I made no swatch, and the hat, she is too big. Sad. Go here for the details and more pics.
I started it a bit ago, made a mistake in one round, then promptly put it away for awhile. I have noticed this: when I make a major mistake, with frogging, I promptly fix the error, and knit back to where I was when the error happened.
Then I make the knitting sit somewhere, alone, to think about what it has done. I do this ALL the time. When did I start punishing my knitting? What kind of parent will this make me??? (Um, the progesterone might be causing anxiety as well. Maybe.)
SCHMOO.

Prettiest Dog Ever.
Almost Done!!!
The Vintage Knits Ribbed Sweater is almost done!!

People, get a load of this shoulder seam. Can you stand it???

Minor surgery was involved to convert the finished sleeve to a 3/4 sleeve, but it was worth it and now, I have enough yarn to finish. One sleeve and one neckband to go. The rest is even sewn-up already! Ends woven in! It might happen! Yay!
Ok, kids. If I haven't emailed you, or checked your blog, etc., I am out of internet and will be back soon. I'm sorry if I don't respond to your comment from today's post. We are going out of town this weekend and HOPEFULLY the internet will be fixed by next week...
*Linda Ronstadt. I do love her. This dates me, I know. But there it is.

Wow, that is one fantastic shoulder seam! Cute hat, too--do you have a big-headed friend that you can gift it to?
Hang in there without the internet, I totally feel your pain.

Love the hat!
Don't feel bad, i put my knitting in time out all the time! I had to take my sock to knit group last night because my Green Gable was home thinking about making me do all that extra math and measuring ;p~
No news is definitely good news.

I come home and you leave? Everyone - kids, knitting, moms and dads - needs a time out every now and then. Yes on the progesterone, but what's it doing to your ass? ;-)

Nice rack, Jenny. Also, I feel the size of them is quite promising. Like that does bode well for babykinses. Plus, punishing your knitting is good practice for parenting. At least I like to think so.

SUCH a cute hat. I just bought some yarn for that so I'm learning from you and will absolutely swatch.

Linda Ronstat is so under-rated. I love her as well. That shoulder seam is a thing of beauty. I am faint.
