1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer high-end/natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?

I hate Red Heart. But I like a lot of Lion Brand, some of it's decent.

2. Do you spin? Crochet?

Spin, No. Crochet, sometimes.

3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)

No.

4. How long have you been knitting?

25 years. Or so.

5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

No.

6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)

Vanilla.

7. Do you have a sweet tooth?

Oh yes.

8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?

I like quilting, tatting, needlepoint.

9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)

Flaming Lips, Shins, Wilco, Patti Griffin, Lucy Kaplansky, etc. Yes re: MP3s, but secret pal don't go to that kind of effort. ;-)

10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer?

BLUE. Also Blues. And greens and purples. And blue. And red.

11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?

Married x 10 years, one dog, two cats.

12. What are your life dreams? (really stretching it here, I know)

Uh, to knit every day as thought it were my last? What?

13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?

Silk Garden, Trekking XXL, most rowans; I love essentially any wools and wool blends.

14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?

Most novelty yarns. Any yarns with, like, little flags or bobbles on them. I'm not a super fan of cottons.

15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?

Just doing each piece really well.

16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?

That's a toss up. I knit everything.

They make me nervous. But, I'm knitting one too. Not sure I'll wear it.

Circular.

All of the above.

Yeah, baby, yeah!

22. How did you learn to knit?

Taught myself at age 7ish. From a kit my parents gave me.

23. How old is your oldest UFO?

Old. I scrap stuff that I don't like. Oldest that I intend to finish? Probably 3-4 years.

24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?

Strongbad from Homestar Runner. "Scroll buttons and the lappy, together at last..."

25. What is your favorite holiday?

Halloween.

26. Is there anything that you collect?

Hmmm. Yarn? We seem to collect pet hair, although that's not planned.
